abstract | A new anti-perspirant aluminum zirconium composition that is effective and less irritating is provided by the addition of a small amount of AlCl 3 and / or HCI to the activated aluminum component. After heating the diluted basic aluminum hydrochloride solution, cooling to room temperature, mixed with small amount of AICI3 or HCI and then reacting with zirconium glycine complex, an aluminum-zirconium salt is produced with a maximum amount of species of aluminum and zirconium depolymerization. The addition of a small amount of AICI3 or HCI to the solution of activated and diluted aluminum hydrochloride accelerates the depolymerization of the activated ACH solution, and in the addition of zirconium glycinate the solution is further depolymerized and results in the formation of species of less polymerized zirconium. |
