The use of 2,4-bis (alkylamino) pyrimidines of the formula (see formula (1)), wherein R1 is C1-C12 alkyl or C6-C10 aryl; R2 is hydrogen or C1-C12 alkyl; or R1 and R2 together form a radical of formula (see formula (1a)), wherein R 'and R' 'are each independently of the other hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 alkoxy; R3 and R5 are each independently of the other hydrogen or C1-C8 alkyl; R4 is C1-C20 alkyl, unsubstituted phenyl, C6-C10 aryl, C6-C10 aryl-C1-C6 alkyl, hydroxy-C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 dialkylamino-C1-C6 alkyl, monoalkylamino C1-C6-C1-C6 alkyl, - (CH2) 2- (O- (CH2) 2) 1-4-OH or - (CH2) 2- (O- (CH2) 2) 1-4-NH2 ; R6 is C1-C20 alkyl, C6-C10 aryl, C6-C10 aryl-C1-C6 alkyl, hydroxy-C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 dialkylamino-C1-C6 alkyl, C1- monoalkylamino C6-C1-C6 alkyl, - (CH2) 2- (O- (CH2) 2) 1-4-OH or - (CH2) 2- (O- (CH2) 2) 1-4-NH2; or R3 and R4 and / or R5 and R6 together form a pyrrolidine, piperidine, hexamethyleneimine or morpholine ring; in the antimicrobial treatment of surfaces. |
