abstract The invention relates to the chemical synthesis, identification, determination of the chemical structure and the biological activity tests against cardiovascular diseases of organic compounds of methylthiomorpholinic derivatives of phenol, and of phenolic bis (methylthiomorpholin) compounds derived from phenol, specifically derived from 2 - (thiomorpholin-4-ylmethyl) phenol and its corresponding quaternary ammonium salts of formulas I, II, II, IV, and V, which behave as active agents for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The invention also relates to the preparation of pharmaceutical compositions and the use of phenol-derived methylthiomorpholinic compounds and phenol-derived bis (methylthiomorpholinin) compounds, specifically derivatives of 2- (thiomorpholin-4-ylmethyl) phenol and their corresponding quaternary ammonium salts of formulas I, II, II, IV and V, pharmaceutically acceptable for the manufacture of medicaments for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
