abstract The present invention relates to closure systems containing self-adhesive adhesives that include: at least two opposing closure elements in (for example, separate locations on an article such as a disposable honeycomb) that are capable of overlapping to form an adhesive closure; and a self-adhesive adhesive composition on each of the closure elements; wherein the self-adhesive adhesive composition comprises: 50% by weight up to 90% by weight of an elastomeric adhesive material comprising a non-polar elastomer; 10% by weight up to 40% by weight of a wax; 0 to less than 5% by weight of a plasticizer; wherein the percentages are based on the total weight of the elastomeric adhesive material plus wax plus optional plasticizer, and where at least one of the following statements is true: the self-adhesive adhesive composition has a T detachment of at least 100 grams per cm; or the wax has a molecular weight of less than 1500.
