A process is provided which can be continuous, for the manufacture of product compositions for personal care. The process involves feeding a first aqueous phase, which is a concentrate that contains most if not all of the water-soluble ingredients of the composition into a mixing tube. A second phase, which can be oily or aqueous and a third phase, the latter being essentially pure water, are also fed into the mixing tube. All phases are transported through the tube at a flow rate of 2,268 to 2268 kg / minute and at a pressure of 0.703 to 351.5 kg / cm2. Preferably, the tube leads to a homogenizer, such as a sonolator. |
