titleOfInvention | PROCEDURE FOR THE FORMATION OF UV ABSORBER COATS ON SUBSTRATES. |
abstract | A process for forming layers of UV absorbers on an inorganic or organic substrate is described. Said process is characterized in that: a) a low temperature plasma, a corona discharge and / or energy-rich radiation is allowed to act on the inorganic or organic substrate, b) it is applied on the treated inorganic or organic substrate at least one initiator that form radicals and at least one UV absorber, which contains at least one ethylenically unsaturated group, and, eventually in the form of melts, solutions, suspensions or emulsions, at least one synergist and / or at least one ethylenically unsaturated compound, c ) the coated substrate is heated and / or irradiated with electromagnetic waves. The invention also relates to a substrate provided in accordance with said procedure, with a UV absorber layer. This procedure largely excludes the vacuum conditions and an excessive thermal or energy request, as well as the destruction of the UV absorber. Clear clear UV absorber layers of good adhesion were formed, the properties of which can be advantageously controlled, such as optical density. |
