titleOfInvention | PURIFICATION METHOD FOR COMBUSTION GASES. |
abstract | A method for washing compounds SOx, NOx and other toxic substances from the air from a stream of combustion gas. In the method, to wash the compounds SOx, NOx and other toxic substances from the air from a stream of combustion gas, two different unit operations are amalgamated. More specifically, there is a dry wash operation and wet wash operation. The dry injection washing operation involves contacting a stream of combustion gas containing the SOx, NOx compounds with an adsorbent to remove virtually all the SOx, NOx compounds present in the stream. The second wet washing operation involves bringing the current into contact to remove any SOx, residual NOx and other toxic substances from the air that remain in the stream. |
