abstract The present invention relates to a cultural method of improving the cultivation of fruits characterized in that it consists in making an incision or longitudinal pressure, mainly, at the base of the floral bouquet, being made in the period between the opening of the first flowers and the completion of the fattening of the last fruits to obtain, thus, bigger fruits. The said incision should preferably be made shortly after the first flowers leave. The present invention is applied to solanaceous plants with an instrument for general use or specific use for this procedure.
