NUCLEOTIDE SEQUENCES CODING DEREGULARIZED PHOSPHOGLYCERATE DEHYDROGENASES OF CORINEFORM BACTERIA AND PROCEDURE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF L-SERINE. |
abstract |
The invention relates to nucleotide sequences of coryneform bacteria encoding the proteins that participate in the biosynthesis of L-serine as well as to a process for the production of L-serine. By means of the deletion of at least 79 amino acids in the C terminal of the wild-type serA sequence, a 3-phosphoglycerate dihydrogenase can be produced which has a reduced retroinhibition by L-serine against the wild-type sequence. |
