CEMENTOUS COMPOSITION. |
abstract |
The cure time of compositions comprising cementitious cellulose ether can be controlled by incorporating into the composition of i) a cellulose ether modified by tertiary or secondary or cationically modified amino acid or ii) a cellulose ether comprising a hydroxyethoxyl substituent alone or in combination with one or more substituents to an oxygen, wherein the molar substitution of ethylene oxide MShydroxyexyl is either 2.2. to 3.2 and the percentage of unsubstituted anhydroglucose units is up to 8.5 percent or the molar substitution of ethylene oxide MS hydroxyethylene is less than 2.2. and the percentage of unsubstituted anhydroglucose units is up to 12 percent. |
