| abstract |
The present invention provides a medical device designed to adhere to the skin next to the stoma or other lesion opening with an adhesive layer that includes two or more pressure sensitive adhesives of different composition. An adhesive beneficial to the skin, which has excellent adhesive properties, and can be removed without pain. The other adhesive is flexible and comfortable to use, has high humidity tolerance and the ability to expand to create a seal around the stoma. It has a minimum cold flow and does not discolor significantly when sterilized. |
