titleOfInvention | GRANULATES CONTAINING ENZYMES FOR ANIMAL FOODS. |
abstract | The present invention describes a process for obtaining an enzyme-containing granulate, wherein an aqueous liquid containing enzyme, optionally supplemented with a solid support and / or active ingredients, is made in granules, dried and then coated with a dispersion containing particles of a hydrophobic substance. The hydrophobic substance may be a substance in the form of fat or wax or hydrophobic polymer compound. Preferably, the hydrophobic polymer is a polyolefin, especially polyethylene and / or polypropylene. The enzyme granulate thus coated is suitable for the preparation of animal food compositions, mixing the granulate with the food ingredients, treating with steam and pelletizing. The coated granules have high enzymatic stability during pelletizing conditions and during storage. At the same time, the dissolution time of the granulate is very short, which improves the biological availability of the enzyme to the animal. |
