COMPOSITIONS OF FOUNDATION OF WELLS FOR COLD ENVIRONMENTS. |
abstract |
The present invention provides improved well foundation compositions for use in cold environments, where the circulating temperature of the cement is typically within the range of 5 to 20degree C. The improved well foundation compositions essentially comprise an aqueous fluid, a fixative. of hydraulic cement and an acceleration additive consisting of alkaline earth or alkali earth metal nitrate and alkaline earth or alkaline earth metal nitrite. |
