The invention relates to optimally pure or racemic novel diphosphines of formula (i), (see formula I) wherein: R1 and R2 represents a cycloalkyl group of (C5-C7), an optionally substituted phenyl group or a heteroaryl group of five members; A represents (CH2-CH2) or CF2 the invention also refers to the use of a compound of formula (I) as a ligand to prepare a metal complex, useful as a chiral catalyst in asymmetric catalysis, and chiral metal catalysts comprising at least one ligand of formula (I). |
