abstract |
A metabolic controlled fermentation process has been developed for the production of 6'-O-carbamoyl tobramycin by applying different strains of Streptomyces tenebrarius in submerged cultures at a core temperature of 37OC-41OC in a medium containing carbon sources and assimilable nitrogen, mineral salts and controlling the sources of assimilable carbon and nitrogen by charging in an optimal range. As a result of this invention a production with high yield of carbamoyl tobramycin with high purity could be achieved. |
