The use of bulking agents or particle clusters having an extremely small mean mass diameter of less than 1 micron, preferably less than 300 nm, in pharmaceutical aerosol formulations comprising a suspension of drug particles in a propellant. Examples of bulking or grouping agent include ascorbic acid, saccharides, polysaccharides, amino acids, organic and inorganic salts, urea and propiliodone. |
