Carbamates of general structure (l), (see formula) where: R1, R2 and R3 are H, OH, SH, CN, F, CI, Br, I, (C1-C4) -alkylthio, (C1-C4) - alkoxy, (C1-C4) -alkoxy substituted by one or more radicals F, carbamoylamino, (C1-C4) -alkyl and (C1-C4) -alkyl substituted by one or more radicals F or OH; R4 is a cycloalkyl or aryl radical (heteroaryl or not), with or without substitution; the quinuclidine ring amine may also be forming quaternary ammonium salts, either in an oxidized state (N-oxide); the carbamates (1) are antagonists of the M3 muscarinic receptor, selectively against the M2 receptor, so it can be used for the treatment of urinary incontinence (particularly due to bladder instability), for the treatment of bowel syndrome irritable, and for the treatment of diseases of the respiratory tract (in particular chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic bronchitis, asthma, emphysema and rhinitis), as well as for ophthalmic interventions. |
