titleOfInvention INTEGRAL LINING FOAMS USING PENTAFLUOROBUTAN BLOWING AGENTS.
abstract It has been found that the unchlorinated pentafluorobutane blowing agents can be used alone or in combination with water in flexible, integral liner foams. For example, foams prepared using 1,1,13,3-pentafluorobutane (HFC 365mfc) alone or in combination with water or other non-chlorinated hydrocarbons such as heptafluoropropane show improved physical characteristics, such as resistance to abrasion and rupture, in bending , compared to conventional chlorinated fluorocarbon blown foam.
