abstract | The invention relates to a process for the production of strongly adherent coatings on an inorganic or organic substrate in this process, in a first stage: a) the inorganic or organic substrate is subjected to the action of a low temperature plasma discharge, a corona discharge, a high energy UV radiation or an electron radiation, the radiation or discharge is then discontinued at a later stage; b) one or more electron donors, such as co-initiators, which contain at least one ethylenically unsaturated group, are applied to the inorganic or organic substrate, to the vacuum, or to a normal pressure and react with the free radical sites there; and c1) the substrate, thus precoated, with the coinitiator, is coated with a composition comprising at least one monomer or oligomer, ethylenically unsaturated, and a photoinitiator, and the coating is lasted by means of electromagnetic and / or ionizing radiation; or c2) the substrate, thus coated previously, with the co-blender, is coated with a composition comprising at least one monomer or oligomer, ethylenically unsaturated, and one or more initiators that can be thermally activated, and said coating is heat cured. The invention also relates to the use of electron or H- donors, for example amines, thioethers or thiols, which have at least one ethylenically unsaturated group, in the production of said layers and to the coatings themselves that adhere strongly. |
