Test strips and methods for use in determining the concentration of at least one target analyte in a physiological sample are provided; the test strips in question include a plurality of skin piercing elements fixed thereto; in the method in question, the plurality of skin piercing elements fixed to the test strip are inserted into the skin, the physiological sample is transferred to the test strip and the analyte concentration is determined; the test strips and methods in question find use in a variety of different applications, particularly in the determination of glucose concentrations. |
