titleOfInvention SOFT FABRIC COMPOSITIONS.
abstract A fabric softening composition, which comprises: (a) a cationic fabric softening compound; and (b) an emulsified silicone. In one aspect, the viscosity of the silicone before emulsion is from 10,000 cSt to 1,000,000 cSt, preferably from 30,000 cSt to 750,000 cSt, more preferably from 30,000 cSt to 400,000 cSt, more preferably from 45,000 cSt to 250,000 cSt , for example from 45,000 cSt to 2000,000 cSt, and the emulsion is a macroemulsion. In another aspect, the average size of the silicone droplet in the emulsipon is at least 0.2 microns, preferably at least 0.25 microns, more preferably at least 0.39 microns, preferably also not more than 25 microns, and emulsifies with an emulsifier comprising one or more cationic surfactants.
