titleOfInvention METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREPARING COMPOSITE MATERIALS.
abstract The present invention describes a generic method for producing void-free materials and occlusion gas, as well as apparatus for batch and continuous production thereof. This generic method can be used in the production of a wide variety of polymeric compounds and composite materials and specifically covers both ends of the spectrum of polymeric composite materials that is, on the one hand concrete polymers and on the other hand polymer composite materials with reinforcements of fiber. The composite materials of the present invention are characterized by a visual account being devoid of free occlusion gas at the level of 1 micrometer at a 1250x magnification. Concomitantly, the invention produces useful polymer concrete materials which show substantially improved integrity for easy machining at high speeds and high dielectric and mechanical strength, as compared to materials with composite materials produced by conventional methods. Therefore, a particularly suitable application for the materials of the present invention is the class of high voltage electrical insulating materials and insulators where the presence of gaps or gas occlusion fissures can have harmful effects, leading to failure. early
