ADENOVIRUS FORMULATIONS FOR GENETIC THERAPY. |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a formulation that allows the preservation of viral particles and viral vectors, which is directly injectable into an organism; more particularly refers to a formulation for the preservation of a recombinant adenovirus vector that optimally enhances the vector titer or stabilizes the vector at room temperature or in refrigeration, or both; The invention relates to compositions comprising a recombinant adenovirus vector and a human serum albumin concentration (HSA) effective to stabilize the adenovirus vector at a temperature above the freezing point of water, or to enhance a titer of the vector of adenovirus comparatively with a titer in the absence of HSA, or both, in an aqueous pH regulator. |
