A heating apparatus and method for thermal treatment of pre-welding, thermal treatment of welding and post-welding of a superalloy article in a single cabin while avoiding oxidation of the article, the cabin is preferably equipped with a one-way valve that allows the exhaust of the gases, but on the other hand seals the cabin to avoid the entry of air during welding and heat treatment as a result of the thermal gradients induced when the article is inductively heated, to provide access to the article and a device used for welding the article, the cabin is equipped with gloves with which the welding device and the article can be manipulated while a non-reactive atmosphere is kept completely inside the cabin and the article is inductively heated. |
