| abstract |
Improved adjustable positioning fluid compositions and methods are provided. The adjustable positioning fluid compositions are basically comprised of an adjustable hydraulic component comprised of fine ash. A fluid loss control additive, a gel resistance inhibition additive, a penetration delay additive and water selected from the group of clean water and salt water, present in an amount sufficient to form a paste having a density within the range of about 12 to about 15 pounds per gallon. |
