titleOfInvention NEW TRANSFECTION AGENTS AND THEIR PHARMACEUTICAL APPLICATIONS.
abstract The present invention refers to the lipopolyamines of formula (I), in which R1, R2 and R3 represent, independently of each other, a hydrogen atom or a group - (CH2) q-NRR ', q may vary between 1 , 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, this independently between the different groups R1, R2 and R3; m, n and p represent, independently of each other, an integer that can vary between 0 and 6; R4 represents a group of general formula (II) in which R6 and R7 represent independently of each other a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic radical, saturated or not, of 10 to 22 carbon atoms, with at least one of the two groups that they are different from hydrogen; u is an integer chosen between 0 and 10; X represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a monoalkylated amine group or not; Y represents a carbonyl group or a methylene group; R5 represents a hydrogen atom or a natural amino acid side chain, depending on the substituted case, and r represents an integer that varies between 1 and 10, when r is equal to 1, R5 represents a natural amino acid side chain substituted or not, and when r is greater than 1, R5 represents a hydrogen atom. This also applies to pharmaceutical compositions containing them, and their applications for nucleic acid transfection, in vitro or in vivo, in cells.
