A procedure for the preparation of triethylene diamine is presented by passing an ethanolamine, ethyleneamine, piperazine or morpholine on pentasil-type zeolite at an elevated temperature characterized in that a ZSM-5 zeolite is used in the form of hydrogen or ammonia, which has been pretreated with a aqueous solution of a chelating agent capable of forming a chelate-aluminum complex. |
