abstract The present invention describes the improved methods for producing platinum compounds, which are very suitable for producing labeled substances, which can be used to detect specific molecules of interest. Platinum coordinating compounds have two reactive groups of which one is replaced by a label and the other can be replaced by a substance to be labeled. The production of labeled substances is greatly improved by selecting the correct starting materials by producing the correct intermediates. The efficiency of the marking is greatly improved, thereby allowing the production of equipment which is also part of the present invention.
