VAPOR BARRIER FOR USE IN THERMAL INSULATION OF BUILDINGS. |
abstract |
A vapor barrier is presented for the application in thermal insulation of buildings, which can be used especially for thermal insulation measures of new buildings or for the renovation of old buildings. The vapor barrier according to the present invention has an ability to perform the diffusion of water vapor under different environmental conditions. This is achieved because a material that has a resistance to the diffusion of water vapor dependent on the humidity of the environment and also has a sufficient resistance to traction and tearing is used as the essential material. |
