The invention relates to polyisobutylene reaction products having an average degree of polymerization P of 10 to 100 and an E ratio of 60% to 90% of double bonds or ligatures that can react with maleic acid anhydride, corresponding to E to 100 % of theoretical value calculated if each polyisobutylene molecule has such a reactive double bond, with nitrogen oxides or mixtures of nitrogen and oxygen oxides. These reaction products are suitable as fuel additives, particularly for spark ignition engines, and as additive lubricants. |
