The present invention relates to the use of a deodorant comprising undecylenic acid or a salt or ester of undecylenic acid to deodorize paper, cardboard and non-woven fabrics. This invention relates to the use of an odor absorbent substance, characterized in that said substance comprises undecylenic acid or an alkynyl or polyoxyalkylene ester salt of undecylenic acid.
