titleOfInvention ACRYLIC TYPE LATEX BASED BINDER FOR A PAINT IN EMULSION OR AQUEOUS DISPERSION.
abstract The present invention relates to a binder for acrylic paint in aqueous emulsion comprising: a) from 96 percent to 99.9 percent (calculated based on the weight of the dry extract) of an aqueous acrylic latex dispersion, and b) of 0.1 to 4 percent and, preferably, 0.5 to 2 percent (calculated based on the weight of the dry matter) of an aqueous emulsion of an aromatic epoxy resin by means of a nonionic surfactant. Use of said binder to prepare single-component paints that have improved leachability and washability.
