abstract | The present invention discloses a water soluble granular formulation of the 2,4-D salt, which contains components with the following weight percent: 5-80% 2,4-D salt (calculated as 2,4-D acid ), and a water soluble filler to complete the mix. The water-soluble granular formulation of the 2,4-D salt has an extraordinary control efficiency of perennial and annual Poaceae weeds and broadleaf weeds in soybean and other Fabaceous plants; for example, weeds such as amaranth, polygonum, lamb's quarters, dulcamara, Siberian cadillo, chicken foot, foxtail, lent grass, millet broom, and the like. The formulation is environment-friendly, and has the advantage of being free of organic solvents and dusts, and furthermore it is easy to measure compared to the conventional emulsifiable formulation, the wettable powder formulation and the suspension formulation. The present invention also discloses the method of preparing the formulation. The production process is simple, inexpensive and safe. The production process, without the use of dangerous chemicals, is easy to control and operate, and has a high safety factor. |
