abstract | A process for making a conditioning gal phase is described which comprises: forming a "co-fusion" in a first container comprising fatty alcohol and a cationic component and 0-15% by weight of a water co-fusion, (A ) add the "co-fusion" to a second container containing water at 50-60 ° C, (B) mix, where the temperature of the co-fusion mixture and the water in the second container (B) is controls so that it is maintained at 56-65 ° C, preferably 58-62 ° C, most preferably 60 ° C, where the fatty alcohol has 8 to 22 carbon atoms and where the cationic component comprises 0 -70% by weight of cationic component, cationic surface active agents having the formula N + R1R2R3R4, most preferably 30-60% by weight of the cationic surface active agent component, and wherein R1, R2, R3 R4 and are independently alkyl or benzyl (C1 to C30) and a process for manufacturing a conditioning composition by forming a phase of g the conditioner obtained through any of claims 1-7 and then add any remaining ingredients. |
