titleOfInvention METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF NITROSIL SOLID RUTENIUM NITRATE THROUGH THE USE OF A RESIDUAL CATALYST CONTAINING RUTENIUM.
abstract A method for the preparation of solid ruthenium nitrosyl nitrate by the use of a residual catalyst containing ruthenium is described. The steps of the method are: drying and calcining a residual catalyst containing ruthenium to obtain a black solid containing ruthenium, grinding the solid containing black ruthenium to a powder, feeding hydrogen to effect a reduction to form metallic ruthenium, oxidizing ruthenium metallic by using a gaseous mixture of ozone and air to produce a ruthenium tetraoxide gas, collect the gas, feed the gas into a solution of nitric acid, add solid sodium nitrite to prepare a solution containing ruthenium nitrosyl nitrate , and finally use diethyl ether for extraction, and evaporate the diethyl ether to acquire solid ruthenium nitrosyl nitrate. The method can effectively recover the ruthenium noble metal from several residues of charge type catalysts containing ruthenium, in order to achieve efficient recycling of the ruthenium resources, and has simple operation steps and does not involve the intervention of intermediate compounds of Ruthenium, which ensures high product performance. The solid ruthenium nitrosyl nitrate obtained is halogen free, has a high purity, and is capable of being applied directly to the preparation of catalysts.
