abstract The present invention relates to a protein composition comprising fibrinogen, a cellulose ether derivative and a mixture of glycine, phenylalanine and histidine, has a water content of only 10% by weight and is sterilized with radiation, wherein at least part of the fibrinogen enters inside the cellulose ether derivative in the state of the fibrinogen particles.
