abstract The description provides a liquid hand soap or shower gel, comprising (i) a surfactant system comprising C8-18 alkyl ether sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB), and N- (2 hydroxyethyl) amide fatty acid; (ii) a polyethylene oxide-polypropylene oxide block copolymer; and (iii) one or more mono or di esters or amides of polyalkoxylated fatty acids, the composition allows reduced levels of surfactant, while still maintaining good rheological properties.
