titleOfInvention PRECIPITATION OF IRON OXIDES FROM SOLID SOLUTIONS OF QUITOSAN FOR THE OBTAINING OF NANOCOMPUESTOS.
abstract The present invention relates to the preparation by precipitation, with alkalis, in solid state, of nanoparticles of iron oxides in a chitosan matrix, the resulting materials can be from grayish and opaque solids to transparent reddish, having ferromagnetic or superparamagnetic properties. These properties combined with the biocompatibility and biodegradability of chitosan, allow that in addition to the potential uses in electricity and electronics, they can be used in medical and biological applications.
