Kits for evaluating the calcium oxalate titer test of an animal, as well as methods for predicting the risk of calcium oxalate stone formation, have been described herein. Furthermore, methods and compositions are described in this document for: among others - reducing the specific gravity of urine and reducing the calcium oxalate titration test in felines. In particular, diets and methods that use certain amounts and proportions of arachidonic acid (AA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are described herein. |
