titleOfInvention METHOD TO PRODUCE AN ANTIBODY FUSION PROTEIN.
abstract A method for the production of a fusion protein is disclosed, in which an antibody and a human lysosomal enzyme are fused. The method comprises; (a) a step of culturing mammalian cells that produce the fusion protein in serum-free medium to allow the mammalian cells to secrete the fusion protein into the culture medium, (b) a step of collecting supernatant of culture by removing the mammalian cells from the culture medium, and (c) a step of purifying the fusion protein from the culture supernatant using a column chromatography using, as a solid phase, a material to which has bound a substance having an affinity for the fusion protein, a column chromatography using, as the solid phase, a material having an affinity for the phosphate group, and a size exclusion column chromatography.
