This method and process includes (1) selecting an ocean location that is considered high in nutrients and low in chlorophyll (High Nutrient Low Chlorophyll, HNLC) and (2) that this location is within close proximity to fishing feeding areas or migratory routes or within areas that are considered fish feeding areas (3) within this location, an anomaly of sea surface height (Ocean Swirl) is defined by ssh satellite data (4) applying a fertilizer that contains an iron compound in the Ocean Swirl.
