titleOfInvention METHOD FOR THE BACK PROCESSING OF HEPTAHYDRATED IRON SULPHATE.
abstract The invention relates to a method for the subsequent transformation of iron sulfate heptahydrate into iron sulfate monohydrate. Said method comprises the steps of: a) Forming an aqueous solution or suspension of iron sulfate heptahydrate in a tank (Mixture I), b) Feed the Mixture I into a first pressure vessel and heat the Mixture I to a temperature T1 which is above the boiling temperature of the I mixture at atmospheric pressure, where a pressure P1 is formed and where solid monohydrate iron sulfate and a Solution II are formed, c) Separate the solid monohydrate iron sulfate from Solution II, d) Feeding the solid monohydrated iron sulfate separated with the adherent Solution II in an additional pressure vessel with a pressure P3, where P3 is less than the pressure that predominates in step c) and where the temperature of the incoming solid with the Dissolution Adherent II is above the boiling temperature of Solution II at pressure P3 and where a temperature T3, corresponding to pressure P3, accumulates at r Additional pressure ecipient. Optionally, the iron remaining in Solution II is also recovered, reacting Solution II with air or oxygen, and possibly additives, in an oxidation reactor, and (n) iron oxide and / or solid iron hydroxide is formed .
