The present invention relates to a process for preparing a compound of formula I (see Formula) comprising reacting a compound of formula II (see Formula) with a brominating agent in the presence of an acid catalyst to obtain a compound of formula III , (see Formula) and reacting the compound of formula III in tetrahydrofuran or 2-methyltetrahydrofuran with potassium tert-butoxide to obtain a compound of formula I. |
