The invention relates to the field of pharmacology. In particular, it refers to new analogs of apeline, and to the therapeutic uses thereof. A cyclic apelin analog of the general formula X1-X2-X3-X4-X5-X6-X7-X8-X9-X10-X11-X 12-X13-X14 is provided, comprising a lantionin bridge of the Ala structure -S-Ala or a methyl-lantionine bridge of the structure Abu-S-Ala or Ala-S-Abu, and wherein said (methyl) lantionin bridge is of the size i, i + 3; i, i + 4, i, i + 5 or i, i + 6. |
