The new fuel designed for diesel engines is formulated using a part of the standard diesel fuel and two groups of components with different evaluation characteristics. The first group is made up of reformulated chemicals, while the second group is made up of a mixture of properly combined vegetable oils. The fuel obtained with this formulation has a better thermodynamic performance and allows an appreciable reduction of carbon dioxide (CO2) and the output of particulate matter (PT), which are, respectively, approximately 50% and 60% lower. |
