abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for obtaining organofluorinated cationic quaternary salts comprising the steps of: a) adding a base; b) suspend the base in a suitable polar organic solvent; c) slowly incorporating an alkylating agent; d) slowly add an organofluorinated substrate; e) heating the reaction mixture obtained in step d) above; f) bring the reaction mixture to room temperature; g) vacuum filter the reaction mixture by washing the remaining solid with a polar organic solvent; h) precipitate by evaporating the solvent to complete dryness obtaining a whitish solid; i) wash the solid with a non-polar organic solvent; j) purifying the compound obtained in step i) above, using a polar or non-polar organic solvent; where the cationic salts obtained with said process are used as chemical tracers to determine the heterogeneity in oil deposits of the carbonated type. |
