abstract The present invention relates to nanoparticles of double laminar hydroxides (HDL) containing a non-polar compound of plant origin, which provide greater stability and resistance to photodegradation to said non-polar compounds, to increase their shelf life and storage . In addition, a simple and economical method for separating a non-polar compound from a plant material containing it is described, as well as a method for the selective release of the non-polar compound of plant origin contained in the HDL nanoparticles with high purity. .
