abstract The present invention provides devices and methods for calculating and monitoring oxygenation parameters during treatment with the supply of nitric oxide. The devices and methods of the present invention can calculate the oxygenation index based on measurements of the mean airway pressure, oxygen saturation and the inspired oxygen fraction derived from components of the present invention. A device for the supply of nitric oxide incorporating a proximal pressure transducer is also described.
