titleOfInvention CO-ADMINISTRATION OF STEROIDS AND ZOLEDRONIC ACID TO PREVENT AND TREAT OSTEOARTHRITIS.
abstract A combination therapy to treat osteoarthritis is revealed. Combination therapy includes co-administration of a steroid and Zoledronic Acid. Co-administration of a steroid reduces the production of cytokines and, consequently, reduces the proinflammatory effects of Zoledronic Acid. Co-administration of Zoledronic Acid with steroids treats osteoarthritis and helps prevent the onset of osteoarthritis in patients at risk of developing osteoarthritis.
