SPECIFIC INSULIN CONJUGATE OF SITE. |
abstract |
An insulin conjugate is provided that has an improved insulin receptor binding affinity and increased activity, in which a non-peptide polymer and an immunoglobulin Fc region are attached site-specific to an amino acid residue in the chain. Insulin beta excluding the N-terminal end thereof by means of a covalent bond, a long-acting formulation that includes it, and a method of preparing it. The insulin conjugate of the present invention is used to provide an insulin formulation that shows a markedly increased activity in vivo of the peptide. |
